Cold in Fort Lauderdale

Poem

By K.A. SmithPublished about a year ago โ€ข Updated about a year ago โ€ข 1 min read

I really can't say
It's cold outside in Fort Lauderdale.
But with bright skies,
A high and returned mail.
Black! 'Tis the season for treats.
Warm cold temperatures,
My cover is like a tree.
A gift, who miss me?
If Scrooge this morning...
Imagine a beach spot
Far away... fronts hot,
And cold feet.

What a unique and evocative piece. Your poem paints an interesting contrast between the warm, sunny weather of Fort Lauderdale and the traditional wintery vibes of the holiday season.
