Trapped and Paralyzed

Imprisoned by your fears

Why did life lead you here?

To another dark place

To undergo another sudden change

And experience yet another challenging season.

Leaving you pondering for the reason,

Why life never seems to get it right.

You asked for peace

And found yourself in the middle of a storm.

Cornered and Desperate

Feeling all alone.

You beg for relief

Just to be told

"That the challenge makes you grow."

Grow for what, you might ask

Oh just to face another four seasons

To prove you're worthy

Of obtaining a successful life

And a peaceful journey.

See you thought the storms and seasons were all for naught

But to get where you wanted to be

You had to change

Through strife and difficulty.

So, you could grow into the person

You always knew you could be.

Because this path and these challenges

Were never leading you to a sarcophagus.

They were preparing you

To reach the top

With resilience and a boost to your self-confidence.

Because for this new chapter

You needed strength

To see things through

To break your bad habits

And follow through.

With every promise you made to yourself

To push your way through

Because this chapter is all about how you bloom!
