Cotton candy clouds

Slowly dance into sight

Yellow, orange, and pink

In the fading light.

*

Ever-changing,

Capturing attention

Different shapes

Evoking imagination

By Dallas Reedy on Unsplash

By day, they wear

Their colors pale

Light and puffy

Of varied scale

*

Ever-changing,

Capturing attention

Different shapes

Evoking imagination

By Luka Vovk on Unsplash

Some fill the sky

In dark, angry hues

And they may cry

Whenever they choose

*

Ever-changing,

Capturing attention

Different shapes

Evoking imagination

*

Why is it clouds

Can blend with others

Ignoring shape,

Ignoring colors?

*

We can learn

From clouds, it's true

Don’t worry about shape, color,

Or what you go through

*

Cry or shine

Whenever you choose,

Do your best

To amaze and amuse.

*

Join with others,

Get loud, make thunder

Fly free, be something

Of a wonder.
