The clock ticks on, a steady beat,

A rhythm that we cannot cheat.

Each second falls like grains of sand,

Slipping swiftly through our hands.

The hands move slow, yet time flies fast,

Moments fade, they never last.

In the quiet of the ticking sound,

Life’s fleeting truths are gently found.

Yet in the present, time softly falls.

The clock ticks on, a faithful guide,

Marking the hours we cannot hide.

So in its sound, find strength and grace,

To live each moment, to embrace the race.
