Summer Excitement

Hello, Jerry, I'm bored, anything you would like to do?

I don't know, wanna go swimming at the gravel pit?

Nah, too far and too hot, how about baskets at the school?

Ummm, how about the playground...sit on the swings a bit

Glen, what are you doing here, thought you went to Monroe?

Got cancelled, my aunt called, said she was sick or somethin'

So we stayed home. Came to the park hoping to find you guys, where's Joe?

He got caught stealing water melons, so he's been grounded ag'in

I know, what say we go to my house and play some Monopoly

Granny might make us PB and jelly and it's out of the sun

It beats hanging out here, and I'm gonna win this time by golly

Let's do it. But we have to go by my house so I can tell Mom.

This is fun guys, thanks Granny, that was a great snack

School holiday is cool, huh. Or would you rather be going back?
