Fight for tomorrow,
The seeds of today,
Problems never few,
Always the same,
Strive for the wind,
Grasping fool,
What did keep?
Tick of the hands,
Every stroke,
Panting breath,
Moving forward,
Clear water ahead.

I agree, short poem that opens a world of imagination. Words are you two edged sword Jayme.
There’s so much unspoken wisdom in between the lines here. Very inspiring, short lines that motivates us to keep going. Well written and beautiful transition from line to line, I especially like this transition; ‘ Tick of the hands, Every stroke, Panting breath, Moving forward,‘ 👌🏽
That closing line? “Clear water ahead.” Chef’s kiss. Feels like hope finally exhaled.
This reads like a poem. It makes me think about perseverance, like when we keep going despite problems.
