Last night, I had a dream

That I was talking to people without feeling like they wanted to run away from me

Last night, I had a dream

That my high school class gathered around and we asked each other questions

About what we’ve done

And where we’ve been

And who we are

Actually

Last night, I had a dream

That there was nothing wrong

Last night, I had a dream

That somebody looked at me and told me I looked different

Last night, I had a dream

That the mean girl smiled at me and I thought she was pretty

Last night, I had a dream that everyone from my past had sparkles in their eyes

We were all together

Actually

And for the first time, in me, there was nothing wrong
