A long loving dream
to rise and see the sun
to sing when birds cuckoo
smile — to feel and make believe I understand
to spin and turn to sweep the dust
of an already-cleaned room covered with ash
five books on my head
a need to walk straight — to make it straight!
as I collect dirty clothes
dance them into the tub
There are sharks outside the sea
I wonder — could they ever see me?
Blowing horns without their thorns
An art — ooze with blood but no one stops
A kiss is but a kiss
even if lips perform with walls
Walls! What do we prefer?
Golden block or wooden shield?
Long live a dream
same old, same old.
Wake up! — wake me.
I’ve lost a glass slipper
I don’t need to find
but find us a hammer! — I need a hammer,
strong enough to shatter steel walls.
