Christmas Traditions

There are many.

By Darla M SeelyPublished about a year ago 1 min read

Stockings which are hung by the chimney;

Eating turkey, ham, favorite pies,

Cookies, milk left for Santa Claus;

Kids telling him the gifts they want.

Greetings in many languages;

Gingerbread houses people make,

Sending some cards across the miles;

Pickle-shaped ornaments on trees.

Writing letters to Santa Claus;

Exchanging gifts both big and small,

People wearing ugly sweaters;

Seeing the houses decked with lights.

Friends having a cookie exchange

And attending a midnight mass;

Sipping cider and ice skating,

Shopping at a Christmas market.

The children counting down the days.

Until the holiday is here,

Watching classic Christmas movies;

Attending a Chrismas parade.
