Christmas is over now

I always feel sad when it’ has gone

Christmas is over now

Christmas now is over, the season fades away,

The sparkle and the laughter feel so far from yesterday.

Taking down the tree, each bauble, every light,

Reminds me of the magic that brightened every night.

The decorations stored, the house feels bare and still,

A quietness descends, a void nothing can fill.

Yet in my heart, the warmth remains, a glow that lingers near,

For Christmas lives within us, throughout the coming year.

Though sadness whispers softly as the twinkling lights depart,

The joy of cherished memories still glimmers in my heart.

So I’ll hold onto the spirit, the love, the cheer, the song,

For Christmas isn’t over—it stays with us lifelong.
