What does it mean to be depressed
at Christmas time?
It means smiling when you don't want to
and listening to conversations that you
don't have anything to add.
You have tried to voice your ideas, but
others just look at you like 'Who are you?'
Christmas is lonely in a crowd, and at
it would seem better just to be alone.
One question;
How would you feel when everyone says those
words "Merry Christmas!" but not to you but to
all that are around you?
Christmas is supposed to be about--
C is for consideration of others feelings,
H is for heart,
R is for realization of others,
I is for imagination using your memories to get through the day,
S is for survival of the day,
T is for trying to treat others as you would like to be treated, but no
success,
M is for memories that you have but no one remembers,
A is for affect low,
S is for sadness.
D is for depressive ideations,
E is for emotions no one sees,
P is for pride that you do not want to show that you are depressed,
R is for respect of others feelings,
E is for edification of emotions,
S is for safety, maybe,
S is for secure in own self,
I is for individual,
O is for, I guess, opportunities quiet time,
N is for nurturing self.
That is what Christmas Depression means to me.
Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas with many
hopes and dreams.
