choosing less

in the name of more

By susan marie loehePublished 6 years ago 1 min read

their derision a piss soaked piece of thin toilet paper

on the floor of that public private bathroom

that inside of which was filmed your progression drunkenly

it was sent to me anonymously

they are not kind people

the refrain isn't consistently attempting to approach peaceful due to

lacking an effective violence but rather

I've always thought there

are people who should be permanently removed

and furthermore that I wouldn't mind doing the task

so it's best for us all if I direct that energy calmly

attempt the gain of authority over it so as not to tragically or accidentally

allow the beasts off leash

mostly this works, on a physical level.

I stay away from guns and step away from sharpening my teeth but

My thoughts have forever, and run wild

The ancestors have their own ideas of power and it's usage

they will not be stopped in their intentions on the significant behalf

we can well trust their wisdom and discernment

however

much it may cause distress in the world

they speak well of you, and remember us smilingly

and I dream of water and the docks sometimes

the prairie and mountain streams others

far northern forests

dark wooden houses

and always the warmth of fires burning

away from this time there is much already

there is no hurry here as you may have noticed

please don't misinterpret eventuality belief as reluctance

but rather an adherence to our prior agreement

so that you might make certain identification

of at least yourself and how that pertains

to the formulas and theories we've approached in the cause

of love

I will confess to sometimes the weariness of a temporary loss

and others most trying

But it's always been your move first
