Chilly Nights, Bright Lights

A Poem

In glass balls, winter stories are told,

With grit and charm, tales unfold.

A dog in a coat walks streets so bright,

In snowy paths, pure canine delight.

Pizza on ice, a slippery scene,

Chasing a slice, a pizza dream.

Lights in a store, a budget's glow,

Simple bulbs shine, a lamp's soft show.

A landlord's stance, heat locked in ice,

An icy home, a chilly price.

Café steamy scenes, towels draped free,

Coffee lovers dance, so full of glee.

Puddles unknown, mysteries explore,

Green or gross, we're not quite sure.

Rats enjoy chestnuts, a feast in the street,

Winter's delicacy, a furry treat.

Joggers through parks, winter's race,

Snowy paths, a brisk embrace.

Sleds through streets, honking beats,

Winter's daring feat.

Skating on ice, a pricey unfold,

Almost bare, a story to be told.

Frosty delight, memories in sight,

In winter's embrace, a chilly night.
