Chiles en Nogada — A National Dish
A poem about an unforgettable deliciousness
Here in Mexico
A must on Independence Day
I can’t wait to try “Chiles en Nogada”.
All-around September,
You can find this traditional dish
At every restaurant,
Its a must
For this delicious recipe, super easy
You will mainly need:
Poblano peppers (the bigger the better)
Filling, a combo of:
Seasoned ground beef,
Peach pieces,
And nuts
Finally...cream and nuts salsa
The key point is…
That on top of all of this,
You can find cilantro, nuts, and pomegranate seeds.
This is to portray the Mexican flag
Red, white, and green,
Truly an authentic and traditional dish
Even if it has “Chile” in its name,
The taste is sweeter than you think
Many regions have their own way of making them
But they have the same essence
It's a whole experience
