In the garden of my youth, I used to play,
Under the golden sun, on a bright summer's day.
Childhood memories, so vivid and clear,
In the echo of laughter, in moments held dear.
Beneath the azure sky, where dreams took flight,
I'd chase after fireflies in the soft twilight.
With innocence as my guide and wonder in my eyes,
I'd reach for the stars that lit up the skies.
Muddy hands and scraped knees, a testament to fun,
Climbing trees and building forts, never a race to be won.
The taste of ice cream, the sound of the sea,
Childhood was a time of boundless glee.
Crayon drawings on the walls, tales of make-believe,
Imagination knew no bounds, there was so much to achieve.
Hide and seek in the shadows, secrets whispered at night,
Childhood memories, a treasure chest of pure delight.
The sound of my mother's lullaby, a soothing, gentle song,
As I drifted into slumber, feeling safe and strong.
And in the morning light, a new day would appear,
Filled with endless possibilities, void of doubt or fear.
Though years have passed and I've grown older now,
Those childhood memories remain, a precious vow.
They're the foundation of who I am today,
In the garden of my youth, where I used to play.
