that change in my day!
that changed my way!
It's when innocent waves of laughter were born
Giggles echoed in the afternoons
As we sailed paper boats on quiet lagoons.
Imagination sparked at every glance.
A kaleidoscope of a carefree dance.
those days of happiness and play.
Climbing trees, chasing butterflies...
the world where time held no sway.
Underneath the endless and azure skies.
In the golden haze of youthful mornin
Where innocence and laughter were born
those days when we fought
the shares in snacks
Lovely yet melancholy
ran until we felt pain in back
step by step sneaking slowly
bunking classes for games
But hark! A change subtle shift
The curtain on a new act to unfold
As shadows grow and time did lift
A metamorphosis tender yet so bold.
Moments cherished in heartbeat rhyme
From tricycle dreams to youthful strides
Tiny footprints in the sands of time
A tender farewell to those joyous tides.
Thank you Dear Childhood
In the golden haze of youthful mornin
From tricycle dreams to youthful strides
Where innocence and laughter were born
A tender farewell to those joyous tides.

I wish I can be a kid again. Loved your poem!
Ah, the glorious days of childhood. Since I didn't have a phone (which was good), I played my toys and used my imagination to create a story whatever I want.
