Chiaroscuro Waltz
A Commission Of Light & Shade
Enter the gray-haired myths
Chalked-up fear on yin & yang—
Lies? Not all obscures.
I and eye believe in love,
Potency shared; new info the kinfolk;
Stars die as bees after a sting
Embossing this tug-o-warrant!

Author's Note:
Most of my writings' tend to explore the psychological and historical realm, the deep halls and corridors of the human mind. This acrostic challenge/prompt inspired me to think about the roots of human perception in relation to an eclipse.

Such an intriguing poem! Each line has so much to say here -- I feel like I could go down a rabbit hole really diving into the meaning of each. I appreciate your author's note so much because it really puts perspective into your inspiration for this. I really love the play on words I've seen you use, such as "I and eye believe in love," -- stunning! I love pieces that make me think and you've really done this here. Wonderful work, Christian! 🤗❤️
