Cherry Creek Valley

A short poem

By Bixi HernandezPublished 3 months ago 1 min read
Picture taken at Cherry Creek Valley Ecological Park

There's a place where the deer run as wild and as free as your soul

A place where even in October the plants aren't so dull

In the spring it's a bursting meadow

But in October everything is yellow

Darling place your hand in mine

Follow me to the sunshine

Faraway from the crowds

Where the sky is full of fluffy clouds

This place reminds me of you

It's true

This place is as mesmerizing as you
