Chasing Vs. Attracting

Applying “Attract, Don’t Chase” In Real Life

Chasing after you has been easy

Easy doesn't mean painless

Easy means you can do something without effort

But easy doesn’t mean shameless

I do my hardest to attract you

I brush my hair and smile gently

But attracting you is hard

As your eyes wander incidentally

I’m bored with all this

All this play that you enjoy

I want to be chased after

While you fix your hair as a decoy

The Internet tells me to stop chasing

They tell me to attract

But how can I stop chasing

When you don’t seem to react

Is quitting the chase giving up

When who you’re chasing can’t be caught

But really, what else can I do

If I’m ignored every time you have a thought

Chasing and attracting can work together

But not for you and I

Because when it comes to two people

This game you play leads to a good-bye
