I know you can't talk,
(unmerciful truth);
I hope you don't mind
if I talk to you.
Mindless feelings
always on me;
acceptance, challenge,
never break free.
But it's Valentine's,
and everybody else
is opening hearts
chanting their spells.
Stay put with me,
don't go away;
mindfulness changes
starting tonight.
