CHANCES

I'll give it to You, but You must earn my trust first for the second time.

I know how much you love me.

I know how you cared for me.

I know the ways of you appreciating me.

I know your excuses when you wanted to be clingy.

And I know how much you've been hurting because of me.

I know You, and I know your million ways of loving me.

Yet, suddenly, in a glance, everything we have fall into pieces.

Everything we've shared seems like an ashes.

Ashes that can be flown by the wind and we wouldn't be able to find it again.

Everything, even our promises.

Indeed we both suffered.

Hearts being broken and shattered.

Trust that start to fade and anger begin to reign.

Then few months later, chances started to rule.

Making us communicate again, doing our role.

Even so, again we will be lost, for our yesterdays love remains the same.

Thus, You never stopped to ask for chances, chances...Chances.

However, my mind isn't willing and afraid to be left again.

My heart stopped fluttering though I know, being You it's loving.

You might ask "Why?".

Boy, I was hurt and I still am.

Win me again, my trust...you have to gain.

Prove to me first, let me see, assure me,

that You will forever stay with me.

Then someday, when my heart's ready and my mind is willing.

I'll give it to You again.

The love and trust that You once lost but successfully gained.
