I don’t usually do this, not really my kind of thing

See I'm publically shy although at home I am king

But these past couple months, I've been listening to Cole and Drake

And they say how you gone make it if a chance you're too scared to take

See I’ve fallen into the trap of working these 8 hour days

Hard labour, maximum work for minimum wage

Feels like a whip is on my back reminiscent of the slave trade

They say Micah do this, Micah do that, sounds like Kuntakenta

I just eat work and sleep, fallen into a mechanical routine

Nightmares plague my mind, I am haunted by my dreams

Bosses popping up, they're scaring me like fiends

Am like is this really it, is this all my life means

But no not at all see I finally understand

If freedom is what I want I got to take it like a man

90’s Nas in my ear saying yea Micah you can

So am a walk straight out of my office now, am a take this chance.
