In skies vast, where dreams ignite,

Stars weave tales through endless night.

Planets dance in cosmic rhyme,

Bathed in the glow of ancient time.

Galaxies swirl in cosmic embrace,

Infinite wonders, boundless space.

Nebulas paint with hues unseen,

A tapestry of the universe, serene.

Meteors streak, fleeting and bright,

Comets blaze a fiery flight.

Black holes whisper secrets deep,

In the celestial realm, they keep.

Constellations tell stories old,

Legends of heroes, myths untold.

Astronomy, the poet's muse,

Inspiring wonder, igniting fuse.

So gaze upon the heavens high,

And ponder realms beyond the sky.

In astronomy's embrace, we find,

The boundless beauty of the mind.

Good work. This would make a great introductory poem to an Astronomy course in college. A mix of the art in science.
