Celestial Dreaming

And hellish hungers

Let me taste the secrets

Lingering in your mouth.

Open the tomb and roll out

Your tongue like a red carpet.

Let me walk this path with you.

.

I'm eager to taste hellfire.

More eager still to lap up

The unspoken words cloistered

Between your teeth like sugar.

Can't you tell that I'm starving?

.

I'm hungry for your secrets,

Ravenous for the stardust

Coating the red of your lips.

Let me marry the wicked thing

Soaring in the night of your soul.

.

Part your lips for me, won't you?

Let me slip inside your depths.

I'll treat you gently, dove.

If only you open your mouth

And spill those pretty secrets to me.

Shadowed souls, cursed magic, poetry that tangles itself in your soul and yanks out the ugly darkness from within. Maybe there's something broken in me, but it's in you too.
