Caught In The Act

on baser philosophies

By Hoyt Douglas BattlesPublished 5 years ago 1 min read
are any of these stones magic?

Dueling, the ancient philosophers lose the stone of enchantment! Knowingnothow this had happened, they thought they had fastened their vests.

In the sandbox, they sing an incredulous song of mediocrity. Plato moans of platonic unrest, Aristotle kicks up waving a contract of debt. Yet, no one comes forth to proclaim despot!

Take a look at yourselves! Your communicae goes awry, without ethics, without honor.

Your co-father suggested adamantly, that you stand a better chance taught than to let ignorance comply with fault.

Come, let us rest and dine with thee, and we shall see where the stone was lost, and how I came to possess it. My light shines only for the oppressed.

Caught in the act of being good, while pretending to be bad, pretending to be good.
