The one who is loved but never desired. The one who is appreciated but never wanted. The one upon whom we rely but for whom we never wait. The one who knows nothing but longing, but is never longed for. I feel this, Natasha, always living in the shadow, waiting for someone to notice the diamond in the rough. Of course, as one of those who doesn't even qualify as a hunk of pyrite....
