Along the shoreline laid a frozen star

Baking, beholden by the summer sun

A treasure caught in ocean's mystic jar

Bronzed and bare, her life on Earth undone

Coral spun from jagged spears of ice

Darted past the Milky Way's cool fridge-let

Collected broken conch in stratus thrice

Dressing undersea Asteroid's inlet

Enchanted waves pushed the star high, ergo,

Frothy, little penthouse emerges from sand

Each pulse sends ripples to the moon-tide, low,

Filthy, brittle basket star scooped by hand

Gasping, shell shocked, both exhale intensely

Gazing at her pail, tips over accidentally
