Castle Life

All day and All night

By memoirs of A moustachePublished 5 years ago 2 min read

I shall eat the feast of kings

A lot of rice

some gin on ice

That would be pleasant, that would be nice

Everyday I awake, its always a roll of the dice

Same for those 3 blind mice

Their blind and move in triplets

And those traps I lay for them come at such a high price

So They scurry, they dance all through the castle,

every day and every night

So with that being said, today I will go buy a cat

Since I was dreaming of a feline attacker, all day and all night

I have found a cat, she was wearing a hat

She was lying in a box, on her tail a tied kite

So I brought this cat home, and now she just sleeps

All day and all night

She's not to clever, she's not to bright

But I enjoy her company all through the day

and all through the night

She is amused by a the candle light

Flickering on the wall

She found some yarn, tied and balled

OH, did I mention, that my feline company is

Black, tan and white

What a calico, what a precious sight

Most days we sit in a velvet chair, she cuddles in tight

and we watch the mice scurry and fight

All day and all night

There is now a painting of her in pastels on my mantle

On top of the castle fire place

And every day and every night,

we have started to close our eyes Very tight

To try to be like those 3 blind mice

Drinking my gin on ice

She drinks milk over ice

As I eat my rice

She has never had lice,

and finds only twice or thrice times to wake and move

Shift in slight of my hand

During the day and the night

Remember she is not to clever, she's not to bright

And with that having been said

We have now gained 3 more pets

Which are those 3 blind mice

And we all scurry and dance through the castle all through the

day and all through night
