The winter air would sparkle, with a hint of sweet and cold,
And then the carolers would come, their stories yet untold.
The chill of winter’s embrace, with a touch of frost and cheer,
The carolers’ joyous melodies, spreading far and near.
With jingle bells and laughter, they'd fill our hearts with glee,
And Santa Claus, the jolly one, as happy as could be.
Their songs, a symphony of joy, their smiles, a beacon of light,
Illuminate the winter’s dark, a truly wondrous sight.
They'd dance and sing and make us laugh, with voices clear and bright,
And little me would watch in awe, a magical winter night.
When they'd at last go on their way, my heart would pound with speed,
To find the Christmas tree and see what gifts it would indeed.
With trembling hands, I'd search among branches green and bright,
For treasures that old Santa brought, to fill my soul with light.
The magic of this winter night, fills my heart with glee,
The happiest kid in all the world, that’s who I’m meant to be.
Each gift a story waiting to unfold, a joy yet to be told,
In this wondrous season of giving, my spirit truly bold.
