Careless Apologies by Careless Lovers

Sorry “Sorry”

Your copy paste apology

Wasn’t worthy

Of a response,

Much less forgiveness.

Instead it hung there,

Carelessly abandoned,

Much like the way

You left me.

Impersonal to the point

Of insulting.

Far too little,

Months too late.

But even the apology realized:

You didn’t forget

To give it meaning.

You simply weren’t capable.

I'm Glad You're Here
