Captive hearts

what it feels like to be delulu, have no friends, and live... what life feels like when you're a teenager(poem)

By Belly_moonPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

In shadows deep, a teen girl's heart sways,

Lost in love's labyrinth, night turns to a day.

With dreams as her companions, she walks alone,

In the garden of her mind, emotions overgrown.

She gazes at the world through a solitary lens,

No friends to confide in, her heart in suspense.

In love's intoxication, she finds her delight,

Yet reality's grasp remains just out of sight.

Her heart beats in rhythm like a love song,

A love imagined, a world where she belongs.

Delusions dance before her, an enchanting masquerade,

In the theater of her mind, the drama's serenade.

But as the days unfold, she longs for a friend,

Someone to share her secrets, her dreams to defend.

She battles with the mirror, a reflection untrue,

Lost in her illusions, the girl she once knew.

Her love, a fragile tapestry of threads untwined,

In the labyrinth of her heart, she's left behind.

A teen girl's heart, both tender and bold,

Searching for a love, a friendship to hold.

In her world of delusion, she finds her escape,

But it's real connections that shape her fate.

May she one day find solace, her illusions set free,

To discover the beauty of her own reality.
