(Body Language Speaks Volumes)

Actions speak louder than words, and body language⦠well, that speaks volumes.
And so the story beginsā¦
That magical moment when your eyes captured mineā
The walls I had so carefully built began to crumble.
From all the way across the room,
Your gaze carried a call I couldnāt ignore.
So I answeredā¦
As your eyes burned into mine,
They reignited something in meā
A vibrant fire I thought Iād lost.
A flicker of renewed desire.
A sense that maybe⦠life wasnāt so dire after all.
I needed to know more.
I found myself drawing closerā
Closer to you,
Closer to truths Iād lost somewhere along the way,
Back in the blur of youth and time.
What truths? Iām still not sure.
Sometimes, we donāt even know the questionsā
Only that weāre aching for answers.
And your gazeā¦
It was powerful enough to take me back
To a time before innocence was stolen.
In that moment, I felt like Iād returned.
Like Iād arrivedā
Home.
And as the saying goes,
āHome is where the heart is,ā right?
Maybe thatās why mine feels safe next to yours.
Maybe thatās why I keep it there.
Because when your eyes meet mine,
Everything settles.
Everything softens.
Suddenly, all is okay.
Suddenly, I feel safe.
Suddenly, the world is quiet and I can breathe.
Iāve been captivated.
Not by illusion or chance,
But by something realā
By the quiet kind of magic that doesnāt need to be explained.
And what a beautiful thing to witnessā
Two souls, unfolding.
Two hearts, still golden.
Two lives, slowly writing their way toward something worth remembering.
Our story is one to be told.
So here it beginsā¦
And yesāit is beautiful.
They say the eyes are the windows to the soul.
I believe they are also the mirrors to lost parts of our own.
Thank youā¦
For helping me find mine again.
Actions speak louder than words, and your eyes?
They said everything I needed to hear.

Actions really do speak louder than any words we could ever say. Loved this!
The idea of eyes being mirrors to lost parts of our souls is a lovely image and a great twist on an old phrase
