May cool, clear water find you when you thirst beyond your means.
May the breeze cut through the heat of day and catch sail on your dreams.
May the enemy that haunts you fall in sudden, sharp precision
And among the darkness, Light be found in turmoil’s intermission.
The raging, sea shall calm itself as darkness turns to sky
And drown all those who caused the storm with every greedy lie.
I hear your pain and send my Light
To guide you through the dark of night.
May you find shelter in the storm
And love to keep your soulfire warm.
Though there is tragedy surrounding us at this unholy time.
I promise peace lies just ahead and Justice for their crime.
So don’t lose hope, dark’s end is near
but first we must let go of fear.
About the Creator
Arthur Armstrong
A being of duality, poetic irreverence, and maddening nonsense.
