Candle loses nothing in lighting another
Beyond Time and Behind Stars

Temper yourself justly, and with Grace —
Firm and righteous in your understanding,
Commanding (and, if you choose, kind)
In your tone.
The stars are here to obey your heart!
Command the cosmos, as the God you are,
And tread underfoot the weeds of
Doubt and disillusionment.
Yet, equally, tread the grasses of peace and tranquility.
This is your garden. These are your flowers.
Or, if you like:
“This is your circus! These are your monkeys!”
Heckle and herald them into order that stems from
The divine — from the same laws that command
The virtue of light, the winds
That sway the boughs of great trees on planets unknown,
With heavenly roots reaching skyward (wherever that is)
As well as to the core of that crystalline matrix.
I digress.
Collect the seeds in your arsenal of truth,
Plant them with love,
Trusting that the sun will feed them,
The wind will play, the soil nourish
And the rains refresh and quench the
Thirst for eternal life.
Do it NOW!
When else?!
No more excuses.
Leave behind your intrepid and tired arguments,
They cannot follow you into the burning flame of
The candle from whence you emanate.
Fly and be free.
Along the way, pass the light on,
My light bearer. My love.
About the Creator
Sabayo Matiku
I express the realities and frequencies that words are carried on, to speak to the heart in a manner that is simple and free. I've come to ruffle feathers and to polish the sky, to laugh and wonder.
