She perfected the story of relatable effort,
Wandering light from memorial days,
The beginning, the excitement, the powerful heart,
Beating for that one, that love portrays.

Starry night skies, shining over the world,
Feelings of vastness, of absolute delight,
Each pin prick a sign of a dying star,
Signalling the importance of loving light.

Closer to home, the smell of wax,
The hypnotising allure of special flare,
The promise, the anticipation, the wishes,
Of feeling important, of welcoming care.
***
Jittery patterns of light and shadows,
Atmosphere of memories past,
Of magical emotions caught within its flame,
Winter placed on hold, of finer days forecast.

Enjoy the moment, caught in between the shadows,
Knowing nothing is forever, but memories will do,
Mindfully prepare for the end of time,
Leaving you at peace with a future break through.

Leave tomorrow where it belongs,
Turn the flickering light into pure joy,
Welcome the lesson as it needs to run,
Without time on her side, she’ll not allow it to destroy.
***
All is as it should be,
The flickering flame to reminisce,
Love as deeply as she can,
The emotions caught in one spellbinding kiss.
