The quote, All good things are not as good as just right, and I can strongly relate to this.

Life is something that we tend to live in pursuit of perfection and to achieve the best in all things, but we tend to be focused on the small and natural moments of joy. I once worked day and night to achieve success in my career and reach exhaustion. I lost the opportunity to enjoy family life with my loved ones, although I experienced some success. I never knew what goodness was until I came to see the lost looks on the faces of my family as a result of my absence, and suddenly I knew that goodness was not about something out there that glorifies you, goodness is about something that fits and something that is warm and good when you are with your family.

Interpersonal relationships work the same way. Excessive goodwill causes those to feel under pressure, whereas they approach lasting friendships and make those comfortable enough when they have the proper balance of care and distance. It is a little cup of tea that does not taste too strong or too weak, but it warms your mouth and makes you taste a bit inside your mouth.

This reality is very much so in nature. Ideal beauty in nature comes as the beautifully timed flowers of spring, the summer night stars, the autumn falling leaves, and the white, snowflake-like, winter snow. They enable us to get solace and comfort in our quests.

All good is not so good as just right is somehow a wisdom, an insight into life.

We need to learn to stop what we are doing, see the beauty of life, and enjoy every moment that might appear to be insignificant, yet at the same time, it means so much.

Moving forward in my life, I will work at finding and keeping this middle ground in life so that I can live in a state of happiness and fulfillment in everyday life because life is not an issue of pursuing extremes, but living by taking delight in moderation. At the end of the day, all the good things culminate in that just-right beauty.
