As tender the night

Slowly dawn appears

Piercing sparks against the wood

From the smiles creates the mood

Dancing around the heat shifts

Laughter makes the food good

Swoosh of wind lifts the flame

My heart an inner child risens

Sings through the fire it’s given

Makes memories they smile

We smile create new

As the flames slowly die

We end it soon

It takes morning to make joy

Thankful for campfire

As we meet again in the coldest winter
