Calling into the Wind
on continuing to sing and maintain faith through hardship
I'm in mourning for ever even believing
for even one single second thinking
that I could ask the wind for anything
and he would just bring it right to me.
-
But I kept calling anyway
I keep calling anyway
-
I'll take my steps here one by one
but I will still keep calling to the sun:
"I know you can hear me!"
Fine, remain silent, but I'm on my way
-
I keep on calling,
I keep on calling along the way.
-
Well, I'm here now, aren't I?
I followed the trail up the tallest mountain.
This is as close as I can get to the sky,
and I'm out here, calling into the wind.
-
I'm in mourning for ever even believing
for even one single second thinking
that I could ask the wind for anything
and he would at least answer me
-
But I kept calling anyway
I keep calling anyway
Where are you?
I know you can hear me!
Can you hear me?
-
and I'm just calling
and calling
and calling
into the wind.
-
What else can I do but this?
Besides moving forward,
I am helpless.
I'm calling in to the wind.

Sometimes, we keep calling even when there’s no answer, but maybe the journey itself is what matters. Keep going
