Called To Illuminate

When your heart calls to illuminate,

but the devil comes to deviate,

through subversion and covert tactics,

its hard to bare especially while it happens,

using those around you especially those closest,

to destroy your dreams while betraying your trust,

what hurts the most is the feeling of being hopeless,

Yet through God I've yet to give in to giving up,

Though many times I've thought I've had enough,

the struggles are so hard to bare especially in the pit of despair,

discouraging and only furthering the pain,

attacks that bring the ultimate tax,

physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually, socially, financially,

all fronts stunts that will leave you hanging in states of disbelief,

the audacity and arrogance of the creator of mischief,

when all my efforts are subverted and diverted,

thwarted, and through being overwhelmed sometimes aborted,

hoping things will get sorted out while things seem only to continue south,

when you're so close to realizing your dreams and freedom,

Liberation from these worldly systems I call the Devils Kingdom,

Blazing a path in alignment with the Most High,

Where all things are in order and seem to go right,

Then it comes time to being tried,

these test to see if the lessons have truly been taken to heart,

or if it was all superficial from the start,

When you've learned to trust your instincts

or what God has put in your heart,

But you're so used to trying to keep the peace and play the small part,

Where you try not to escalate or cause commotion,

So you try to appease those that really have a secret devotion,

you can tell the seed by its fruits

And this revelation comes with deep deep truths,

Ones that will crush your heart and soul,

But not as much if you were to defy your purpose,

there is no greater feeling of being worthless,

When God shows you what your worth is,

And you sell yourself so short you cant afford your purpose,

When you've been given insight and lessons

to where you can capitalize on your blessins,

but you allow those who have never given you a reason,

To ever believe in the things they say which you can feel is treason,

But in you're blind ignorance and love for others

you betray yourself and are now are in for a rude awakening,

How quick those that you wanted to appease will switch it up

And cause difficulties when they promised ease,

The entire time you knew better now whats worse they make you a debtor,

Say you owe them for all they have done,

When in reality is all their efforts have undone,

All you worked for and invested in yourself,

Because they don't want you free to help others or your self,

Many times I have cried, or even hurt myself,

When all I want is to shine and help and nothing else,

I have been gifted with being shown some ways

but with every day it seems more ways away,

Hurt beyond mention is all I can say,

But God forbid I ever give up on my dreams I must say,

When the devil comes to take them away,

do you have the strength to stand up and say,

To claim what is right and face the day,

Regardless of the destruction that appears in its wake,

The lake of fire really is a frozen tundra,

Where all burning passion has been put out cold,

Hell is freezing they wish it was warm,

I need to tell my story so others may be warned,

of how to use wisdom and faith to make it through the storm,

to not watch all you worked for be ripped away,

which tears at your heart like no other way,

Worst than heart break by being betrayed,

This is destruction of the soul taking its purpose away,

But as long as you keep up the fight,

There is always hope however faint the light,

This is when it comes to test all your might,

Give all your guts and gain all the glory,

So victory is the final theme to your story.
