Call me Odogwu
Call me Odokwu, for in my spirit, Lives a soul that tries to comfort

Amidst the fierce battle of turbulence,
Call me Odogwu, and listen to what I have to say:
For in the conflict of ancestral pride,
I've stood tall, not influenced nor tied.
With fearlessness and strength, I've combated through,
Breaking chains of inclination, old and new,
Call me Odokwu, for in my spirit,
Lives a soul that tries to comfort.
Confronting the poison of racism, I dare you to
Within the sphere of justice, I emphasize,
Because I am woven into the fabric of humanity's,
search for diversity's power.
Call me Odogwu, for I have come to recognize,
the harmony and beauty in differences.
Our actual power is found in the embrace of oneness,
where every colour and voice genuinely soar.
Seeing past the labels and the skin
We start, in the depths of empathy,
To erect sturdy bridges across divides,
Call me Odogwu; I walk this road.
For I have experienced the sting of the bitter cup of hate.
However, selected love, to cheer me up,
I find my home in the embrace of kindness.
A place of refuge where serenity is sown.
So call me Odokwu, let it resonate,
In each heart, on each ground,
For strength isn't simply muscle or may,
However, the boldness to represent common decency.
In the ensemble of mankind's glory,
I'm nevertheless an unassuming note, an intense conveyor,
Call me Odokwu, let my name sound accurate,
For in the mosaic of spirits, I see as my due.
