All my senses.
They come alive when you are around
A buzz of life that belittles goosebumps
Some force I can't recon with
Something that makes me jump off cliffs
And I'm falling to your gravity
And briefly my spirit lifts
All my senses.
They resuscitate when you're near
A wave of warmth that makes sunshine what it is
Some tirade I synchronise with
Something that makes me dive into oceans
And I'm delving in your Atlantic
And briefly my soul sails
All my senses.
They are saying things only i can hear
Things music bows to
A pleasant appeal you cause
You do the unthinkable...
Some aura of angelic presence
Colours only nature could paint
But you ... you picasso it so well
And I'll willingly liberate myself to your exuberance
I'm buying what you sell
And I'll do it all over again
All your senses.
They flicker to me like you have spent a millennia looking for my dim places
Like there's nobody in the world but you and I
An everlasting infatuation phase
Nothing about you is common.
Have you ever seen a butterfly at rest on an ornamental?
The perfect match of the most well coordinated moment
Well imagine that by a zillion butterflies
Resting in my bosom for a lifetime
And here comes that one other
Not lost, no, but a finder
When I felt her touch
A zillion and one butterflies came alive and
fluttered out in streams from my clothes
It caused an ascension and my feet no longer felt bound to the earth...
She's that butterfly effect.
Changed my life forever.
