Burning Fire's Of The Sun

Dry Land doesn’t stand a chance

The burning fires of the sun,

An unrelenting force, a battle begun.

Golden rays ignite the parched, dry land,

Where whispers of life once gracefully stand.

With searing heat, the world starts to crack,

As flames leap higher, and there’s no looking back.

The crackling echoes, a fierce, wild roar,

leaving nothing but scorched floor.

Trees, once proud, now surrender to fate,

In a relentless dance that no one can sate.

The smoke billows thick, darkening the skies,

As nature’s fury unleashes its cries.

Animals scatter, fleeing from the blaze,

Lost in the chaos, consumed by the haze.

The earth trembles under the fiery breath,

A stark reminder of indifferent death.

As the flames rage on, there’s no solace in sight,

Only the remnants of hope swallowed by night.

When the fire finally burns itself out,

Silence remains, heavy with doubt.

The charred landscape mourns what once was before,

A haunting reminder of beauty lost evermore.

In the aftermath’s grip, despair lingers long,

A testament written in ash, cold and strong.

This is quite the description of these kinds of fires as with any fire as well. Good work.

It’s frightening when bushfires burn. Your poem brings the idea out nicely.
