Secrets kept hidden deep inside, a truth that can no longer hide.

Confessions whispered in the dark,

A heart laid bare with every spark.

Secrets kept hidden deep inside,

A truth that can no longer hide.

A weight that's lifted from the chest,

As guilt and shame take their final rest.

A past that's stained with mistakes,

But now it's time for a new day to break.

With bated breath and quivering lip,

The words pour out in a steady drip.

A story told with tears and pain,

But a release from the cycle of strain.

Forgiveness sought and granted too,

A clean slate now, with nothing to do.

But to move on and live with grace,

And let love light up the darkest place.

Confessions are a heavy load,

But in them, a new path is bestowed.

A journey to a brighter tomorrow,

With the past left behind, no more sorrow.
