Broken Wings

Life seems so hard without the one I love,

it seems I cannot fly like a broken winged dove.

Trust I tried so hard to be the best I can,

I feel as if I wasn't, so you got up and ran.

Of course it hurts you left me there to cry those tears,

I overcame the truth and all my biggest fears.

You know that I still love you even with this broken heart,

Our love was like a painting, like a work of art.

I cannot bare to cry infront of you no more,

You wouldn't even care if my eyes were red and sore...

At least that's what I think, I was perfect in a way,

I wanted to be with you every single day!

What does it matter now? I don't know what to say,

Thinking about you stings like a suns burning rays.

By the time you read this, who knows where I will be,

So till then I'll have to wait, just sit down and see..

Oh how much I miss that kiss and simple little touch,
