Broken Wings

"With broken wings, I try to fly,

Reaching for the endless sky.

Dreams once bright, now dim and gray,

Lost in the shadows of yesterday.

The winds of life have torn me down,

Stripped away my feathers' crown.

Yet, in my heart, a hope remains,

A whisper soft, through all the pain.

I yearn to soar, to touch the light,

To find my way through darkest night.

For even wings that feel so torn,

Can find the strength to be reborn.

So I will rise, though weak and worn,

With courage new, my spirit sworn.

For broken wings can heal in time,

And once again, I'll surely climb.

To skies where dreams and freedom sing,

Beyond the pain of broken wings."
