Broken Soul, Broken Future
A poem about heartbreak, and relationships not meant to be.
What is the future
But an unknown time and space
the future could mean several years from now
Or just seconds from this place
My soul, it wanders
Dark inside, wondering if I'll find the light
Broken in pieces
And crying out, I've finally lost myself in the night
Wandering slowly, across the gray land
The light never shines, it's always the same
My soul and my heart, begin to bleed
As they tear into pieces because you never came
Your promises mean nothing
Your words are all fake
No matter what you say to me
It will end up the same
So please leave me
Alone in my world of darkness
And walk away
Like I know you, you could care less
My soul is broken
My future is torn in two
Bleeding soundly
All because I fell in love with you
What is the future
But a mystery?
A darkness in space
But it's not meant for you and me
