Broken Mirrors

A broken mirror, shattered and cracked,

Reflecting images distorted and abstract,

Once a symbol of beauty and grace,

Now a ruin, a mere disgrace.

Each shard reveals a fractured truth,

Distorted reflections, a shattered youth,

The past is broken, irreparable and lost,

A reflection of pain, at an unimaginable cost.

What once was whole, now fragmented and torn,

A symbol of the hurt and pain that's borne,

The mirror of life, once perfect and bright,

Now shattered and broken, a sad sight.

Like a broken mirror, we all can break,

With life's hardships and decisions we make,

But like the pieces of a mirror, we can mend,

And piece by piece, ourselves we can tend.

A broken mirror may never be whole,

But it can still reflect a beauty untold,

And just like the mirror, we can still shine,

Even with our broken pieces, we can still be fine.
