A moment of reflection

Broken Mirror

Dark and nothing to see

It was smiling

But I wasn't looking

Not sure if something was there

Could have been it's stare

Couldn't tell due to the glare

Wasn't sure if this was fair

This was just a glimpse

Not as simple as I thought

I wasn't here by choice

Thought I heard a strange voice

Standing in the void

Not sure what was deployed

Had a vision

But this seemed like a division

Just a token

Then I was awoken

It was broken

The broken mirror

For Fun

Hey, My elder sister used to read them to me, and as I grew up, my love for stories only got stronger. I started with books, and now I enjoy reading on different writing platforms. Today, I came here just to read some stories, and that’s when I found your writing. From the very first lines, it caught my attention the more I read, the more I fell in love with your words. So I just had to appreciate you for this beautiful work. I’m really excited to hear your reply!

Love the eerie vibe here. The fractured reality feeling is spot on.
