Broken Heart

A vase once held matter.

It fell and broke into many pieces.

Painfully hard, to put this beautiful vase back together again.

I bled and cried. I never gave up, it took years.

Eventually, I got the pieces together again.

I thought to myself, what's the use, if it can't serve its purpose?

Why the hell did I try so hard to put it back together?

But then, one sunny day, I put this cracked vase by my window,

And it filled my room with light. Although, it still had cracks,

That can never be fixed, It was beautiful, it was whole, it had potential.
