BROKEN HEART

POEM

By Fathima FaheemaPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

In shadows deep, where moonlight weeps,

A tale unfolds, of love that sleeps.

A heart once whole, now torn apart,

In the gallery of pain, a broken art.

Whispers linger, like echoes of a sigh,

Love's melody, now a mournful cry.

Promises shattered, like glass on the floor,

A love story written, forever no more.

The stars bear witness to the tears that fall,

As memories echo in the silent hall.

A dance of dreams, now a solitary waltz,

In the garden of love, wilted and false.

Yet, in the wreckage, resilience takes flight,

A broken heart still yearns for the light.

Through fractured pieces, strength is found,

A healing journey, on hallowed ground.

So let time be the mender, of wounds unseen,

As the broken heart learns to love again.

In the mosaic of scars, a tale is impart,

Of a soul reborn from a shattered heart.
